I have had a pair of those gloves for more than 8 years now and I still use it (I don't train as often as a pro but I used it a lot). The velcro doesn't hold as firmly as when it was new but it does its job anyway.
I practice on the double end bag, the heavy bag or punching mitts. It' perfect to work on hand speed because it' very light.
The padding is compact, quite thin, but protects the knuckles extremely well. It also makes a great sound when you deliver a shot properly, which is nice.
The cuff is a short one but gives you a good wrist support. You must wear handwraps to use it anyway, as with any gloves.
The grip bar is well positioned and it's easy to make a good fist.
Inside the wrist, there is a little protective foam bar that allows you to chase punches securely when working with a coach.
The leather is of a very good quality. Of course, I put vaseline on it very often, but there are still no scratches on it after all those years.
The hand is well ventilated as there are 8 holes per glove to allow breathing.
I highly recommend it, it is worth every dollar you'll put in it.
